La Conner, Washington

La Conner is a coastal-community located just across the State Route 20 bridge, east of Anacortes. Known for its large artist community and active shopping district along the water, there is so much to do and explore in this little town. This town has several locally owned restaurants, many shops that focus on local art and handmade goods, and is home to the only museum dedicated to Northwest Artist. Just across La Conner’s idyllic landmark bridge, known as Rainbow Bridge due to its shape, is the Swinomish Indian Reservation. In the spring La Conner is bustling with tourists due to it’s location close to the farms that host the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
